Description
Take full control of your Shopify checkout with our all-in-one customization app! Effortlessly add custom fields such as text inputs, labels, phone numbers, dropdowns, checkboxes, date pickers, and more to collect crucial customer details. No coding knowledge required—just an intuitive, drag-and-drop solution designed for merchants of all levels.
After successfully installing the app, follow the steps below to customize the checkout page.
Setup Instructions
- Go to Online Store under the Sales Channel menu in the Shopify admin panel.
- Navigate to Themes and select your current theme.
- Click Customize, which will lead you to the Theme Customizer.
- Go to the Checkout & Customer Accounts section.
- On the left side, click Add App Block in each section.
- Select the desired custom fields from the available options:
- Text Field
- Banner
- Checkbox
- Multi-checkbox
- Select
- Phone Number
- Number Field
- Date Picker
- Radio Option
Customization
Once the fields are added, you can configure their settings:
- Mark fields as required or optional.
- Set custom labels.
- Define Metafield Namespace and Metafield Keys for storing data in order details.
- After adding and configuring custom fields, click Save.
- Go to Settings in the Shopify admin panel.
- Click on Custom Data and select Orders under Metafield Definitions.
- Click Add Definition.
- Enter a Name and Key for the metafield.
- Provide an optional Description.
- Select the appropriate data type:
- Single-line or multi-line text for text fields, select options, checkboxes, etc.
- Date for date pickers.
- Click Save. Note that namespace and key values cannot be edited after saving.

Final Steps
- Proceed to the checkout page and test the added fields by placing a test order.
- Go to Admin Panel > Orders and find the test order.
- Check the order details to see the added custom fields under the Metafields section.
